A lady that has been there my entire life retired this weekend. I always looked for her to see how big her hair was and how many sequins she was wearing that week. There's no telling what she knows. I hope she writes a book.

The Opry will Never be the Same
I grew up going to the Grand Ole Opry on a regular basis. Think of that what you will, it's the truth and probably explains a lot about who I am. In case you've never been, you should know that there are official Opry background singers. They are always there and sing for everybody, which is at least 10 different acts a night. Can you imagine what that must be like? And how good you must be?
