The Liver is My Favorite Organ

Yep, I've really said that to a hepatologist in a professional meeting, folks.  No lies.  And that nerdy lover of biology is why I love the cake pops and stuffed animals in this post by bakerella:

    Yes, it made him really happy actually - he said most people don't even know what a hepatologist is. But the liver has like 11 different functions and it can somewhat repair itself and I think that's fascinating!
